Electric Motoring

Capernaum is working with the English Motor Car Company (EMC2) to develop an electric bicycle, Motor Bike and Trike. As we progress with our design we are looking for off the shelf components to provide the powertrain of these various vehicles. One off the shelf product we have been looking at is the Lynch Motor Company LEM200. This motor can be placed in tandem and used together as a single unit. Our thought is to use this set up to provide rear wheel power to the vehicles.

We are looking at several others to compare with in terms of power out put, efficiency, weight and cost. If you have any experience with these motors or any of the other low voltage high torque permanent magnet DC motors that the LMC produces please leave a post with your opinions and results.
